LOOP THE LOOP
Place the ball at the top of the path provided to roll and observe carefully. Vary the initial positions of the ball by different heights and observe the results.
The science behind it :
The ball has potential energy which is converted into kinetic energy when it rolls. When the height of the ball is increased, the potential energy increases and hence greater the kinetic energy when it rolls. When the ball crosses the circular path, if it has sufficient kinetic energy, it gains enough centrifugal force to stick onto the path and overcomes the gravitational pull as well. If not, the ball fails to cross the circular path.
