We all know that sweating is the natural way of cooling our body when the body heat increases. This new plastic based textile is low cost and allows body to release heat in a different way.<\/p>\n

Like any other textile, this new material perspires to evaporate. But, this material imbibes a unique air conditioning that lowers output than usual. And ensures that the wearer stays cool.<\/p>\n

This special textile is made up of nanoporous polyethylene (nanoPE) which is opaque to visible light and transparent to mid-infrared human body radiation. They have pores of diameter ranging from 50 to 1,000 nanometres, which are interconnected. About 96% of infrared human body radiation are allowed to pass through the pores of nanoPE material.<\/p>\n

With this property, the wearer can feel upto 15 degree Celsius cooler than other clothing. Yet, a lot of research is going on with regard to bringing this nanoPE material into the clothing form.<\/p>\n
