Echo Tube - Periodic Table
The purpose of a Periodic Table is to classify the elements based on their properties and atomic structure. In this ‘long form’ periodic table columns are named as groups and are classified on the basis of the same number of valence electrons. The horizontal rows are called periods. There are 7 periods in the periodic table.
