The same pair should play on the other see-saw as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What did you observe?\u00a0<br \/><\/em><\/strong>At the first one, one child can lift the other easily. While on the second one, it is difficult for one child to lift the other.<br \/><strong><em><br \/>The science behind it : <br \/><\/em><\/strong>The pivot of first see-saw is exactly at the centre. Whereas in the other, it is fixed eccentrically. The see-saw acts like a first order lever and the pivot acts like a fulcrum. When the fulcrum&#8217;s position is varied, the mechanical advantage gained also varies.
