WIRELESS CHARGING
Have you ever wondered how life existed without electricity? Don’t you think its way beyond our imagination? Life without electricity would be ridiculous. How would the present lifestyle exist without TV, fridge, mobiles, laptops and computers which are highly dependent on electricity?
Wired chargers are the intermediate between the electricity and your gadgets. Carrying these bulky chargers are no less than a burden. The greatest challenge would be finding a socket with proper electric power. What will you do with the charger when there is no electricity? It is just like a life without soul. Sounds too chaotic right?
Have ever thought of an alternative for these bulky chargers?
Well nothing to worry at all, Wireless chargers are the best solution for all problems of wired chargers. Sound so relaxing right.
Life is made much easier and convenient with the upcoming trends in technology.
Thanks to these wireless chargers.
You might be thinking how these really replaced these traditional models? Who invented it? How it works?
Here is the answer for all your questions related to wireless chargers.
This wireless charging technology was introduced by Nikola Tesla. He was the first one to demonstrate the working of this charger in 1981. He succeeded by lighting a lamp without wires. This wireless charging technology is also known as inductive charging. The only question running in your mind is how it works?
This is possible by ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION (EMI).
EMI is a phenomenon in which the electric field is induced in the circuit by the generation of magnetic field. The magnetic field generated by set of metal coils is responsible for the induction of electromotive force. This electromotive force is nothing but the electric power generated in the current circuit which is further used by the load at the output end. Basically the electrons and their action are responsible for the generation of electricity, similarly the action of electrons generated due to electromagnetic induction are responsible for power transfer between two objects. All this electromagnetic procedures are hidden in a sort of small box called power banks in the commoner words and the power from it is transferred to the device via a cable.
The wireless power system is connected to the power main lines which is then converted to electric field. This is then connected to the receiving device or devices which then converts the received power back to AC or DC electric current which in turn is consumed by the electric load.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of wireless charging technology?
Advantages of this technology
- It much durable, reliable and there is very less wear and tear on the sockets.
- There is no effect of environmental change as all the device components are enclosed securely.
Disadvantages of this technology
- There is lot of heat generated due to inductive charging, the efficiency is also less when compared to the traditional charging.
- Wireless chargers are relatively expensive than the regular ones.
- Slower the charging lower is the efficiency, devices takes longer time to charge with this wireless charges when compared to traditional chargers.
- It might be inconvenient due to the cable connected to it, if moved inappropriately the chances of losing the connections are possible.
Hence this wireless charging technology is the key for all complications related to the conventional wired chargers.
