History of The Earth

Earth is known as lively planet of our solar system as it has evident existence of life. It is as old as solar system. It is around 4.6 billion years ago that our solar system was formed. Solar system was formed by cloud and gas. To know history of any object or matter, we should be familiar with history of evolution. Following the path of evolution always gives apparent consequences of existence.

Earth is supposed to be the safest and suitable for existence of life. It is its atmosphere, balanced proportion of gasses, magnetic field blanket that is protecting us from harmful solar radiation and of course the abundance of water.

Let us see the reason behind formation of earth.

Every other living creature would have thought about formation of earth at one or the other moment. Well the reason behind is explained by various people in their own observations. Philosophers say supernatural power is what lead to the earth formation, while the physicists said it was the energy, matter and the physics laws applied to universe.

The formation of Earth happened 4.6 to 5 billion years ago. Scientist discovered that formation of universe occurred due to huge cloud of gas and dust. If we know the formation of solar system then Earth formation will be easily trackable.

How was our solar system formed?

“Solar nebula” hypothesis gives clear evidence for formation of solar system including Earth. According to hypothesis, the universe or solar system was formed by cloud and interstellar dust. This interstellar dust is known as solar nebula. After Big Bang theory there were many gas particles and heavy particles wandering in space. The Hydrogen and Helium and other elements expelled from supernova combined to form elements of solar system. So the compression of cloud lead to formation of planets and solar system. As the gravity and angular momentum showed its effect, the condensed matter became flattened and started rotating. The gravity played an important role in holding this at the centre and its rotation.

The Hydrogen and Helium gasses faced nuclear fission thus leading to formation of the hottest mass chunk known as the ‘SUN’. Certain other developed theories showed up with disc like structure of solar system. And it evidently shows the arbitrary distanced between planets and Sun as the centre. This is how the solar system was formed. We understood about formation of solar systems and theories supporting it. Now let us see how different planets were formed, especially Earth.

How was Earth formed?

All the gases and other celestial bodies surrounding the new star orbits, eventually condensed to form planet bodies. Abundant Hydrogen gas combined with the various other gases to form giant planets like Saturn and Jupiter. The axis of the Sun is what holds all the matter intact. The gravity is not enough to cause nuclear fusion in these bodies. So they remain as planets not Star. Supernova explosion is the trigger factor for formation of solar system and their elemental bodies.

In the similar fashion the Earth formation took place and it began to heat up. So all the remaining gas masses and a lot of water components were formed on earth. The heavy elements compressed and sinked into the earth forming its core. All the lighter particles accumulated on the surface of earth. This is how beautiful planet earth was formed.
