Newton’s colour disc
Here, a disc is colourfully painted with ‘VIBGYOR’. Rotate the disc and observe it. (Ask your friends to stay away from it and do not stop the rotating disc with your hand).
What did you observe?
We see the colour of disc to be white.
The science behind it :
All colours get merged and appear as white. This phenomenon was invented by Sir Isaac Newton and is hence named after him.
